ALES Elektrik Üretim ve Ticaret A.Ş. owns the Ales CCPP, a 62 MW combined cycle power plant located in Çine, Aydın.

The Ales CCPP has been established on a total of 35 acres of land. The technical systems have settled on 18 acres while an area of 500m 2 is allocated for administrative structures leaving the remainder to be classified as greenfield.

The power plant is built around a GE LM6000 PC Sprint-type Gas Turbine. The dissipated exhaust heat from the turbine is utilized by an Aalborg brand heat recovery steam generator and the heat energy in the generated steam is in turn converted into mechanical then electrical energy by a DRESSER-RAND brand, "Murray" Steam Turbine. The ACC system produced by SPIG provides air cooled condensing for the used up steam, providing ample vaccuum for 13 MW of electricity production as well as permitting the reuse of the condensed water to feed the steam generator.


The plant also uses one RMS-A type gas pressure reduction station and Demineralization System.

The DELTA CCPP Switchyard is connected to the National High Voltage Electricity Transmission Grid between  the Büyükkarıştıran and Hamitabat feeders by a 154 KV Transmission Line.


General Electric LM 6000 sprint type turbine consists of five-stage low pressure, 14-stage high pressure compressor. The combustion chamber has a peripheral type in the system. Power output is taken from the five-stage high-power two-stage low pressure turbine.
A Sprint Intercooling system is used to increase the output power as well as a water injection system to supress the harmful substances from the exhaust gases.

To prevent icing in cold weather in the winter, "Anti-Icing"; system and for summer period to increase the output "Evaporative Cooling" systems are made available.


Supplied by Aalborg Engineering of Denmark, the boiler consists of three modules, HP, LP and the Superheater. The boiler equipped with two HP pumps that flows 54.4 m3 / h, in order to ensure water circulation on LP lines two pumps are available rate for a 64 m3/h flow.
Working parameters:
HP Pressure 58 Bar for HP, 
HP Temperature is 437 degrees. 
LP Pressure 4.1 Bar,
LP temperature is 227 degrees. 
Steam flow from HP lines 45 tons/hour, and LP lines18 tons/hour

Feed water tank capacity of 19 m3. Conductivity and pH measurements done on-line and automatic dosing control unit is available. System equipped with a Deaerator Tank
Protection of the system and all operations are performed via the SCADA system.


Murray model turbine obtained by DRESSER-RAND Company. Autput power were 13MW at 4533 rpm, while is the HP steam turbine inlet temperature of 438 degrees and pressure of 57.2 bar
The safety of Steam Turbine and all operations automatically maintained by the SCADA system. 
Steam turbine generator were INDAR brand, Output Power 16 MVA, 11, 5 KV, at speed of 1500 rpm


Air cooled condenser system designed by SPIG Company. Have 12 cooling fans. Equipped  with three vacuum pumps. Steam coming from the steam turbine condensed and collected in condensate tank and sent to the boiler back.


Raw water obtained from two artesian well and collected in the three pools in total 1500m3.
Water production capacity of the system is 20m3/h. ın order to collect the water produced a total capacity of 200 m3 two demi tank is available. During production reagents, waste and chemicals collected in neutralization unit and after neutralization are submitted to the environment without harming nature. 
Produced at the plant for water quality, water analysis laboratory are analyzed in detail.


Natural gas line taken from the BOTAS system at 35-75 bar pressure. Station system has a capacity of 13000th m³/h gas flow, with 100% redundant (double line). System output pressure 47 bar to the Gas turbine. Safety check of the measurement electronics and all of the SCADA system that can transmit data to the control system of BOTAS center of ANKARA.


ALES ELEKTRIK, 154 KV. Switchgear Plant have been integrated between Germencik - Yatağan feeders and connected to the National System. 154 KV. Switchgear Plant has two main feeder, one coupling bar, two lines and two transformer units.
Gas Turbine transformer voltage154 KV / 11.5 KV and power is 50/62, 5 MVA .Steam Turbine transformer voltage 154 KV / 11.5 KV, and power 16/20 MVA. 
The maneuvers in Switchgear Plant are carried out by the receiving orders from the National Load Dispatch Center.
